I opened the sharing pane of my mac, (10.2) and it said where the info should be like "personal file sharing" allows your computer to communicate and so on, it said "Cupertino sharing On Lots of Information for you and Timmy"
PLEASE HELP ME! if anyone has seen this before, then tell me. I think that someone has access to my computer!

This was reported by a ton of people a few months ago. It's some sort of glitch in Mac OS X. It's most likely some sort of joke thrown into the system by the programmers.

You have nothing to worry about. No one has access to your system.

Whew. Thanks for the relief. I was setting up remote desktop and it suddenly said that. Not a very funny joke might I add.
:) Happy now, I get it.

I gotta agree. This hasn't happened to me, but I don't really think it's the developers' job to add "jokes" that look like viruses or hacking, without any indication (apparently) that it's a joke. Then again, it would be even scarier if you live with someone named Timmy ;) .

lol, I would have my brother if his name appeared on my computer where it shouldn't be. :pIt was also kind of incidental that it said "Cupertino sharing", and that it even showed up in the first place. Does that happen like every 2000 times you open the panel?, because that is the panel I visit the most :-)

Yes, you were the person who told me to turn on file sharing
