Linux on iBook Question

Sorry if my question is amateurish. I'm interested in Linux, and I would like to run SuSe Linux 7.3 Power PC Edition on my iBook via my iPod. Is it possible to install the Linux OS on the iPod and boot from it? Does anyone know where I can find how-to references on this subject?

You can install any OS, any types of files, pretty much anything on an iPod. just install as you would a normal HD. the thing is, tho, some people (myself included) advise against it for often use; it tends to overheat and put excessive wear on the HD...
