Hide desktop icons?

Just installed XP with bootloader, and now i have the stupid 2nd windows partition on my desktop, can i hide it? or just put it somewhere else without messing anything up?

Without hiding your Macintosh HD? I think your only option is to uncheck "show hard disks" within the general tab under your finder prefs.
