the new version is out and the website says that it has a lot of great features, but for some odd reason, the developer decided to make this version an applicationenhancer plug-in. luckily, 1.1 still works in jaguar, because after hearing stories of bizarre system trouble after using unsanity products, i'm not going to install ape. any thoughts on the new version? i'd like to install it, but i'd also like my system to work, so...

EDIT: ICeCoffEE used to be an inputmanager that allowed you to control click links in all cocoa (and some carbon) applications and launch them in your prefered web browser or email client. the new version is an application enhancer module and has the following improvements...

Command-click email addresses and slack URLs (http://www.site.dom)

Command-click to launch in Terminal, Safari and SimpleText

Command-option-click to launch with another application

Command-option-click to add a bookmark in URL Manager Pro or similar application

Services in contextual menus of Terminal, Safari and Project Builder 2.x

Optional Services menu in menu bar

Better handling of URL boundaries

Improved compatibility, notably fixing problems with tab views and AppleScript Studio applications

Preferences to enable features and edit exclusion list

Prepared for localization (if anyone wants to translate ICeCoffEE, let me know)

I think he covered that pretty well in his post.

I remember this sort of thing in 8 I had it I believe... very nice. I miss it.
