So, I've been following these boards and have been waiting for this imac upgrade. I've been waiting to purchase an imac 700mhz CDRW (formerly $1,199) but I am hoping to find it for less now that the new ones are out. I have checked many resellers all day but half are out of the item and the other half reflect no price change.

Anything? Anyone?

I work in a stylish fitness club, and we want to get one for the front desk counter because it'll look oh so nice.

Look in the 'Clearance' sections, I've seen a few but didn't keep the links, sorry. (it was before this topic was up)

eBay
powermax (http://powermax.com/cgi-global/generate.cgi?i=PM_CR_IM&t=Refurb+iMacs)
Small DOg - under flat panel iMacs (http://www.smalldog.com/)
MacMall (http://www.macmall.com/macmall/search/search.asp)

That's all I could find. Hope it helps. ;)

I have always wondered whether that was bull **** or not. It has
to be, because it is too good to be true.

And it is really hard to find good deals on macs on eBay, because
there is a high demand for macs on eBay, and a low supply. Get
out your supply and demand notes and you figure out why macs
cost so much ;).

Good ole Amazon just updated their site. They dropped the 700 mhz down $100 to $1,099.
SOLD!!!!

Thanks for all the input everyone!

I forgot amazon! I should have remembered. One thing you
might want to do is cruise on over to dealmac (www.dealmac.com), which is an
AWESOME sight (like amazon, I can't believe I forgot it), and it has
the lowest prices for everything mac. See if there is a lower price. ;)
