Starting out new...

I just got a G3 Power Pc with OS 8 and I'm very new to Macs...there is a lot of crap on this Mac and I was wondering if there is a way to wipe out all the crap cept for the OS...help me if ya can...

Assuming you have OS install CD's, and assuming you don't want ANYTHING on the hard drive, you can just reformat and install everything clean...

i would look into OS X if you can, it's a much better OS and easier to learn (as well as a good thing to know!)... it's a lot more recent, and i don't know if it will run on your system or not...
