That time of year again folks... :D

Me, Garvivonnian (no idea how you pronounce it, but it's not that dissimilar to my name so thus must be good) got 12/1 yesterday... £1000 to win. or in the real world, £2 E/W. heh

So then... I know it's inhumane, but it's the National, what's your tip??? :D

Having only ever won once on the National... don't put any money on Direct Access ;)

I was considering Garvivonnian and Ross Comm but resisted...

A grand!? Good luck to you! I've only got £5 on! yes, I saw the white!

Well, I got a 4th E/W on Nil Desperandum

My mother picked the winner at 11/1... I'm going to start just taking whatever she does - after the day at Epsom where she came out £150 up just making £2 bets, I should have known! ;)

Endorse: en·dorse also in·dorse (n-)
tr.v. en·dorsed, en·dors·ing, en·dors·es
To place (one's signature), as on a contract, to indicate approval of its contents or terms.
To acknowledge (receipt of payment) by signing a bill, draft, or other instrument.
To give approval of or support to, especially by public statement; sanction: endorse a political candidate.

Also - Endorse: The one that I always back.

As usual, my £3 to win (see the How Cheap Are You thread) meant that my horse fell at the third. Another day! Hope everyone else did better.

That's £2 quid I'll never see again.

My mum won too. :p

Right then... a piece of Garvivonnian and chips please. heh.

I've only ever bet on the Grand National twice – on both occasions my horse ended up being shot. After the second one, I decided to give it up as a bad idea. :o
