Hi,

I have a TiBook. I'd like to connect it to a widescreen TV. Do I have to use the PC input on the TV, or can I use an S-Video connection for, perhaps a better resolution??? Not sure. Please inform.

Thanks.

Depends on you T.V.

If it has a DVI, then connect the DVI cable form your TiBook to the T.V.
If it has a VGA, then connect the DVI to VGA to the T.V.

PC Connection provides a better resoultion then S-Video. I know that becuase I connect my TiBook to HDMI.

What is your T.V. model btw?

There is a huge difference depending on the T.V. My T.V. supports 1080i and 720p. So when I hook up using s-video for UT2004, I play at 800x600. With the DVI to HDMI I play it at 1280x720.

>>What is your T.V. model btw?<,

Still looking. I was at Best Buy yesterday. The Sony's and Toshiba's look real nice.

Any suggestions to get the best of both worlds, i.e., Cable reception and computer on screen appearance.

Thanks.
