I am in a position in which I need to buy a powerbook now. I cannot wait for the 17s and need a bigger screen than 12s (so I'll likely get a 20" display too). I am interested in airport extreme capabilities in the future. The 15 currently does not have this capability. Does anyone know if Apple or a third party will make an upgrade in the form of a pc card that can be inserted into the slot on the left side of the powerbook?

i believe belkin is making some. i would wait for new 15'sm youll be happy you did. plus apple is bound to come out with some monitor rebates soon so you can save some money if you buy a powermac/powerbook with an apple lcd.

I wouldn't bank on an LCD rebate for a while since Apple did just do that major price drop on them January 28th.
