free CS2 and studio 8 alternatives!
ok, photoshop, illustrator,dreamweaver are covered by GIMP, inkscape, and NVU, respectively.

alternatives for flash and possibly acrobat are needed (but i can always do pages-->export-->pdf) anything even BETTER than inkscape would be super cool!! (open source X11 linux stuff just doesnt have the elegance nd ease of use of a natie cocoa app)

I'm not trying to shoot you down, and best of luck to you in finding these...

but how many threads asking the same question do you plan on starting?

YESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
after tons of research, i found scribus, the free alternative to acrobat and quark. after more research, i found aquascribus, a mac port, and its great!!!!!!!!
all we need is a flash alternative!!!
