Wow.

Considering that the MacBook Pro was using the standard hard drive, those results are fantastic.

What's especially interesting to me is how fast it renders Motion projects. I have a dual 2.7Ghz/4.0Gb RAM/ATI X850 and it doesn't take long before Motion chokes on complex projects.

I better start saving up for when the Intel desktop machines are released!

Pretty much neck-in-neck with the G5. It is very shocking because the PowerMac is a tower and the MBP is a laptop.

Guaranteed IMO that a PowerMac comes out at WWDC...New Final Cut may be coming later this month (NAB).
