Wars not majorly covered!

There is a lot of WW2 Shooters but ive never seen one for WW1 or the Napoleonic Wars and ive only seen one for Vietnam.

Can anyone provide anylinks to games that are in production or are out.

I have always wanted to see a Battlefield 1942 type game, but for WWI. Bi-planes!!! That would rock.

I think it's because the tactics and weapons hadn't evolved yet. During the Napoleanic wars it took about 6 seconds to reload your weapon, and you were standing in a straight line across from your enemy, who was right in front of you. Not much of a game to be played there, it's more like target practice. WWI was trench warfare interrupted by insane charges into machine gun nests across open ground. Bleh.

Now if they made a C&C-style game, an RTS for either of those wars I'd happily take a look, but there just wasn't much First Person Shooting going on in those earlier wars.
