I was wondering, which should i get. I like the idea that it would run in OS X but if the preformance is better in Windows, than i would rather that?
\any ideas?

Depends what system your playing on. If you've got a G5 based machine, obviously go for OS X.
But if you've got Intel Mac, then I'd probably go for the PC version and make sure you download the multi CPU patch, adds a good boost to performance.
However I'd suggest you download the pc demo, personally I found the game to be pretty shite.

i think its a great game, the concept is quite gruesome though, and some of the things they show, such as severed human bodies living in a machine.....it horrifies me to even think about ti...and thats what i like about the game!

I bought this game last week for OS X on my Intel Duo Core iMac. I have 1 GB RAM.
The game is very responsive and plays great. I have everything maxed out as well, if that helps your decision.
I do agree with a previous poster, however. Buy the OSX version and help save Mac Gaming!

Like a donkey in the Grand National. It's will get to the end, just it will stumble and look pathetic in the process...

I've been playing the Windows version on on my 20" imac and I can't get a good frame rate unless I turn the video settings waaay down.

That's my recommendation too. Buy the Mac version, support the Mac developers :)

I don't have a Windows version to test against, but I believe so. I think all of ID's games will talk to each other.
