I've always wondered about this...

Is it unsafe to have the power adapter (apple chargers, motorola chargers, etc.) plugged into the outlet but not connected to the device? Are there any drawbacks? Is the adapter still drawing power even though it's not connected to anything.

I want to permanently leave my charger plugged into the outlet and be able to hook up to my MBP with ease when I get home....

Yes its always drawing in power, but its fine. You can leave it plugged in with zero consequences. :)

If the plugged in power adapter is drawing power, even when it isn't connected to the laptop, does it save much money to unplug it from the wall when not in use?
