I am going to need a PowerBook for my new business, so I am putting my beloved iBook up for sale. The iBook is in excellent shape with no dents, no major scratches (if you hold it in the light correctly and align it with Venus and Pluto, you can see hair-line scratches from going in and out of the bag), no dead or stuck pixels and a battery that has been religiously calibrated every month as specified by Apple.
12" 1024X768 Screen
1.2Ghz G4 Processor
30GB HDD
1.25GB Crucial RAM
Airport Extreme (this model did not come with BT)
Combo Drive
Comes with:
Original Box
Original Manuals and Install Discs
Apple USB Keyboard
Apple USB Mouse
iCuvre Laptop Stand
InCase Sleeve and Bag
Retail Boxed Version of OS 10.4 Tiger
Spare 512MB stick of Crucial RAM
It was purchased in October of 04 and has received very light use. There is no AppleCare, but I have never had one issue with it whatsoever. (The battery was replaced under the 05' recall.)
The rules:
No Trades
PayPal only (garyreich@mac.com) - Perfect feedback on EBay (garybooberry), eva01, Duffman and JadeKitty can vouch for transactions here.
The Accesories Come With The iBook (I'm not interested in parceling them out in this thread).
Shipping via UPS Ground to United States Addresses only.
I'm asking $650 shipped for the whole package.
Thanks.

I want! I can't use my PayPal account right now though. I had a buyer who used a fraudulent credit card and PayPal has frozen all my funds. Would you take a United States Post Office Money Order? If so, lets talk and see if we can wrap up a deal!
Thanks!

Look folks - the rules were posted in the original post.
"PayPal ONLY"
I don't have the time or the energy to go to Western Union locations, hold the laptop, wait for checks in the mail or have a courier pigeon to bring me the money.
Nothing personal, seriously, but geebus folks.
Whoever has the readies to dump $650.00 into my PayPal account immediately (i'm not holding it for anyone so they can transfer funds around) can have it and I will ship it the next day.
If that flops over the next couple of days, I'll let some of you that wanted other arrangements made know.
And don't call me "unacommodating" I posted my requirements right from the start.
OK?
OK :D

iGary is right.... He did set up guidelines and I asked for a variance. He is in the right to reject my request. What is fair is fair. I wanted this, and was/am prepared to send out a Money Order via Fed EX or USPS so it arrives on Tuesday. But I understand the PayPal deal. I would love to pay via PayPal but I got taken by a buyer and all my cash is frozen in the PayPal account. Stinks, but that is what happened.
Good luck on whoever gets this. And know I hold no ill-will to iGary. Business is business.

$650 cash, but you have to deliver it in person to Victoria BC.
I'll throw in a couple of home cooked meals and a bed for the night + a day out sailing or shooting, your choice.

Yeah, I'd do a local pickup - just let me get this PM working, and then the iBook will be available.
