New ExpressCard cards avaliable (FIREWIRE800, SATAII etc.)

That firewire800 card will not work in a MBP. MBP is ExpressCard34.As a matter of fact, the only card worth looking at there is the firewire400 card.Why did Apple not go with the ExpressCard54 ?????😕
 
are you serious? 😕 Man, how can such a new technology already have such differences and incompatibilities... Oh well. Sorry for the false alarm.

It also (apparently) only supports windows. doubtful, but under the specs.


Last night I was wondering why they didn't ExpressCard/54. Doesn't really make a difference to me. I haven't used my PCMIA slot on my powerbook, so it really doesn't matter to me.
