Hey I have some great PS1 games (that I own) that I would like to copy for backups, but I seem to be having problems copying with Toast. Some of the files on the CD are "read-only" so I get an error everytime Toast tries to copy. I can't even copy the files from the CD to the Desktop. So does anybody know a solution to this and has anyone succesfully copied PS1 games?

This is probably because the CDs were built/burned with bad blocks to use as an identifier to the PS1 as a "legit" PS game. Back in the day you had to use Astarte CD Copy (I think it was called) to copy a PS1 game, but that app is long, long, long, long gone.. as in nearly 10 years gone. So, I think you're SOL. Mainly because if you COULD copy them, you couldn't re-burn them as no commercially available burner will WRITE bad blocks, it just skips them. (Back in the day you had to solder a mod chip to the PS1 board).
