Climb the fountain in World of Warcraft

This is probably not the best place to ask a WoW question, but MR is the only forum I'm on. Does anyone know how people get up on the fountains in WoW?

Don't be a dorf? Or try lots of jumping while strafing around the fountain and always trying to walk towards the center.

Everybody jumps the same hight, Dwarf or gnome or nightelf etc. I've tried strafing and jumping like an idiot, but no success. I'm hoping to uncover the secret. I've asked people sitting up on a fountain, but they always just ignore me or laugh.

A friend told me that only a Mage can get onto the platforms with the auctioneers in Ironforge. Guess how?

When trying to get to places that people won't tell you how to get to examine their class. Often times you will only see 1 or 2 given classes in the same hard to reach places. It's not coincidence. For mages usually their blink spell is the culprit.

Man, I used to have so much fun with blink and slowfall on my mage. And levitate on my priest. And I could get into some interesting places on my drood with rapid form-changing. T'was a fun game, but I'm glad I stopped playing it a month or two ago. And I only miss it occasionally.

Exactly. I could climb something in real life. Why the hell would I want to simulate it? I play games so I can do stuff I couldn't do in real life, like shoot hundreds of people or drive a Lamborghini :cool:

Don't be ashamed of being a dorf - sometimes it just makes life a little tougher. And I bet you have hardly any foot fungus at all! :p

I can't talk, though, almost all my toons were undead; I didn't even have flesh on my knees! :eek:
