I have bought a macbookpro without the restore disk this is my first mac
I bought 10.4.3 from comp usa but the disk dont work only after i found out the disk dont work with the <intel dou>any help on what os to buy to format the drive will be helpful

Have you contacted Apple to see if they would sell you a replacement Tiger DVD? Intel Tiger is not available from any other source now.

How did you not get System disks with the machine?

This might be worse than i thought apple cant help me. Will thier be a disk
soon that will help me that i can buy from store?:confused:

I would go back to whomever you bought the MBP from and demand a copy of Tiger that is compatible. Failing that, get your money back and buy from someone more reputable. I guess the next opportunity to buy OS X may be Leopard, but that is some time away. I think your best bet is to get it from your reseller.

Or, assuming that you obtained the MBP legally, keep trying with Apple. This guy managed to get replacement media from Apple for $16.98. (After being told he needed to buy Tiger all over again).
