yes it will work.
but it makes much more sense to just buy a second battery, don't you think???

For that money, you could get three extra batteries. And no, I don't think you can get a PowerBook or MagSafe plug for it.

Perhaps so, but that's three extra things to carry around, this is one. Plus, you can charge an iPod or something else with it. (Like a toaster)
