AE Supply Issues?

I purchased an AirPort Extreme Base Station today, but only after waiting a week for the "Ethernet-Only" model, and not getting it.

My local Apple Store (Oakbrook, IL) seems to be having a hard time keeping base stations in stock, particularly the $199 model. This is especially interesting, because there's another Apple Store (Woodfield) about 45 minutes away (although I haven't checked their supply of stations).

What I'm wondering is, has anyone else been witness to a similar supply problem with these new AirPorts?

My Mac weblog (http://macunderground.blogspot.com/) has two posts about the new AirPorts. One from last Saturday (http://macunderground.blogspot.com/2003_01_26_macunderground_archive.html#88391664), and one from tonight (http://macunderground.blogspot.com/).

we have 5 of them at our independent reseller, a mix of both of them. we are just having a problem getting the cards.

That's interesting, the Oakbrook Apple Store has had AE cards in stock every time I've been by.

we have only gotten 1. everything else is in volume shipping besides ilife and the high end powerbook and powermacs.
