I think I like networkman here....not because he didn't say I suck, but because he's non-biased & very open to suggestion....class act as far as PC techs go.... ;)
and I agree with list of posters u have named.....it's always a nice break from my work to read what u guys have to say :p

Alright, but no need to suck each others ****s.
imspace2 your posts are ****, you smell of ass, and quite frankly your utter existence is a load of wank.

I haven't be able to post a thread, I made a few ones but I haven't see them around.
At list my post are interesting, specially when I'm in a bad mood or some one make a very supid comment.
I have see threads with only 3 posts for a few days until I make a comment, then you can easily see 30, 40 post by next day.
I could be in the top 10 of "threads enhansers".

Im wondering if we give Arn a hard time, You think the guy stresses about keeping this site up to standards?

I, for one, think Arn does a great job. He's probably just happy he's got a group of nobodies like us to keep these forums lit up. :D
And as for eyelikeart and networkman, I think both of 'em are first class.
And no, my nose is not brown. :p

My vote's for networkman - I've found his posts to have scattered gems of "old-man" wisdom, whereas the rest of you punks....

I doubt arn stresses much over this site....he seems pretty laid back in his posts....but who knows?

Ensign Paris
Feb 7, 2002, 05:08 PM
I got held back at school today for half an hour because when I was using my mac with the 800w PA system (I have permission) a year 8 (About 13, I am 15) said that Apple sucked and the os was a windows rip off and I pushed him off the stage (not in a violent way, just a short hard shove!) and in to the pit (about 2m) He wasn't injurerd but the mac using head teachers didn't believe my story!

Feb 7, 2002, 05:18 PM
No one say anything bad about Ensign Paris.... or he'll push you off a stage:)
hehe:D

Feb 7, 2002, 05:21 PM
Poor Ensign Paris, I used to have a teacher who would no only turn the other way but push the punk off the stage himself.

Networkman - for his "network caveman" impression (remember the "caveman lawyer" from saturday night live and then think about networkman's intro to most posts...) :)
... I don't know that much about "programming" or your "fancy macs", as I'm only a simple PC network engineer (caveman)... but I do know that...
(When really, we all know that Networkman is very knowing. He just likes to play dumb when it benefits his point. aka caveman lawyer)
EyeLikeArt - Because he's "always" got something interesting to say about everything and who couldn't like that eyeball logo?
MyMemory - guaranteed at least one venezuela mention and 3 spelling errors in every post! May Apple put a store in your neighborhood!
All in good fun...

well, at the board I admin we don't let this stuff go on because it creates drama between the posters that usually lead to fights...not to mention so we don't have comments like spikey's.....

K no Spikey doesn't do that I think I started reading aroung the time when he joined um april 01". And he's cool and has some godd posts. MAC15 is cool too. Eyelikeart hmm he has alot of good post and I think he's absessed cuz he posts more than twice a day. Mymemmory well he has good posts but he confuses me on a issue of his. Someappleguy is probably one of the few people here with inside info so beleive him. My vote got to the hatman now Network man cuz he always has had very long though out posts. And that one poster who posted the is OSX Unix well he's really cool that was a nice post and link. All I know is that no one will ever vote for me cuz I always over react at anything that pisses me off.

Awww, poor ol' Beej is missin' out! I should get a place in that top ten, cuz when all you American and European bums are asleep, I'm down here in Oz trying to keep things alive! :D

hmmm...
eyelikeart is pretty cool...
usually i like hearing from the un-heard posters though, they always have a little different spin on things...
and i also like those little punk kids that go "i know more cause i've been using a mac sence i was 1 day old"
in all seriousness, i think everyone on this site has their good points and bad points they make...true some have more good and some bad, but then there's always the sang, 'look on the all the good it has to offer,' that comes to mind...and hey, i'm rambling while just trying to say that i like this site and everyone is cool in my opinion

hey friends no offense or anything but ive found the big posters to post too much junk. they seem to want to comment on everything if its just a "uh huh." jefhat with his multiple postings in a row (you can just edit your last post and add to it you know.) and now eyelikeart with pages of meaningless posts. i admit ive been known to throw in a "hell yeah" type post here and there but i try not to comment unless i have something to say. dont get me wrong jef and eye have some great posts, but they seem a little focused on the post# for me to get excited about anything they say. no, the posters who catch my attention are the moderate posters. i like recognizing the name and but not feeling overwhelmed but these guys. gives me the impression that they only post when they have something to say. im terrible at remembering names so im not even gonna attempt a list but it just seems like you guys are just pulling the top posters list and applying it to best posters. o sure we all love the big posters they keep things moving and are truly the heart of the fourums here but some of the more moderate posters seem to be the ones with the most to say, the ones that arent being mentioned by anyone. and as far as "inside info" goes, well i havent noticed anyone here with any info that goes beyond a good guess. i also have a feeling there are a number of us who when we do get some info can not disclose it. so pull up that users list and start thinking about some of the guys not on the first two pages.

hahaha. not exactly the point of my post but thanks. im afraid ive sort of fallen into the trap of a lot of the big posters i just dont have quite the free time to get the big#s.
where have i been? double course (22 units for those who know what that means) load plus 40+ hours in the lab. o and then theres a girl but i wont get into that. macrumors has basically become the only thing to do when insomnia strokes, after being up for 30 hours i find all i can do is post here (which might explain quite a few of my posts you guys have stared out and wondered what is this guy on)
but as far as others go (as i scan some threads):
choppaface has burst onto the scene nicely
mac_user
alphatech
hemingray
mac15
dantec
rekras
gigawire
sparkleytone
beej
foocha
kaneda
catfishman abnother one to burst onto the scene nicely
just some of the ones ive noticed while scanning the threads. just the guys im used to seeing that no one seems to have mentioned. there are a few others no one mentioned that i noticed that some of you may want to notice but the guys just annoy the hell out of me so i ommitted them. (that doesnt mean if someone isnt listed that you annoy me, i just scanned 5 threads picking out the names recognize and enjoy, maybe you just didnt post in the threads i just scanned, but i may notice you when you do post.)

having just mentioned double posters i decided not to just edit my last post but take on a bad habit started by jef and post again.
just wanted to add that there are also a few "up and comers" that have just recently started to post that have caught my eye, waiting to see if they choose to stick around. lets hope they decide to stick with the community. can anyone names some promising newbies?
