This morning my iPod quit working. It wouldnt mount to the desktop (or anywhere else for that matter) and wouldnt even boot up. I spent most of today scouring the internet for tips on what to do when you see the dreaded ipod with a sad face icon, or the folder with an exclamation point. None of the restoring/resetting/updating worked so I thought it was done. Since my warranty is up, i decided to take it apart. Long story longer, I unplugged the hard drive, plugged it back in, put the ipod back together and all is well with the world. I am currently reloading my library onto my ipod, and very happy that I dont have to spend $400 or more on a new iPod.

too bad mine wouldnt come back

i bought a pink mini for my wife a while back, and it died, it still sold on ebay for 87 though,

maybe you should buy dead ipods on ebay, revive them and then make a killer profit reselling them🙂

glad its working again
