Comcast and EyeTV Questions

Quick question - since I have digital cable through Comcast, I can use any of the EyeTV products, correct?

My digital box also does HD even though we don't have an HDTV - could we still use an EyeTV 500 to record HD programs?

Yes. I am on comcast in palm beach county, basic cable package. I get over the air HD with my eyetv hybrid. I actually had another come in today so I can test out using two at once - I'll let you know how it goes. The picture is great, just be ready for 12GB per hour of HD.
