Hi!
I have a PowerMac G5, 2.3 Dualcore with 2.5GB ram, OS X 10.4.6 and the Airport/Bluetooth kit installed as "build to order".
The problem is, that the Airport connection seems strangely unstable. At times, I have a "full 5" on the meter, and sometimes it goes as low as 1 or 0.
Sometimes after booting the OS, the airport station is not even selected, although it is available.
The speed of the connection varys A LOT! And I am fortunate enough to have a PowerBook to compare with. No problems on the Powerbook EVER!
The strangest thing happened: I noticed, that every time I export from iMovie HD, the speed of the internet connection goes down.... a lot down - slower than a modem (I currently have a 2048/256 connection that runs fine).
Have any of you experienced something like this? I would really like som help!
