Why is my Mac Screen turns Purple?

Can anyone help me on this? I have a 23" mac screen which when it seems to have been on and working for a while-15-30 minutes, it goes light violet!! I can still see and use the computer. If there are some vibrations on the table or desk where I work, it also affect the screen by being it go violet.

What it this?? 🙄 😕

That sounds like a hardware defect, I'd take it into an Apple store.

Make sure the plug is in all the way and secured. If the plug is not in all the way, thats what happens. It has happened to me before on my 23", and its probably the same on yours.

This exact issue happened to me today, on a projector I use in the classroom. Turned out the VGA connector was only partly in.
