iTunes Virtuliser Full Screen Resolution

Why is it that putting the visual effects onto full screen puts it down to a mega low resolution?

when not full screen the visual effects look so nice and sharp at your desktop resolution, but full screening them loses there quality.

is there a way around this? can we set the full screen res to match the desktop?

I haven't used it but iVisualize (http://web.mac.com/vogelbusch/iWeb/Site/iVisualize.html) might be what you want. :)
