Well I believe that the original lawsuit was that they can't get into music distribution, but I might be wrong on that.

The lawsuit is about what businesses Apple can be in, not what songs they can play.

ANYone can broadcast any song, as long as they pay up to ASCAP or BMI or whomever.

No, they just need to pay the "on hold" annual royalty to the performing rights society, and they can play anything they please.

The Lennon material isn't on iTunes, but that's separate from Apple Corps. Yoko Ono is involved with both companies, though, and she reportedly is keeping the later Lenono stuff away from Apple Computer in some sort of protest.
