I just switched to Sprint today, and I'm just not comfortable with the phone I got from them. It's a Motorola i275 with a camera and everything, but I just don't like the size and shape. I'm looking to trade for a different phone that's compatible with Sprint. This phone is brand new, had it for a day. I also have a beat-up Motorola v180 I could throw in, though it's Cingular-branded. The i275 says "Nextel" on the back real small. I'll get some photos up later if anyone's interested.

Thanks!

What the hell. I really should be working on my paper, but here's some photos and a better description of the phones at hand.

First up, here are some shots of the v180.

There are some scratches on the back (light), and the faceplate on the front has a big scuff mark. That faceplate is replaceable, google it, there's a ton of stores that sell 'em if you really wanna change it. The top USB port has lost its cover, and the loop where you're supposed to put a loop of some sort to I guess wear it around your wrist is broken. The antenna is a bit loose, but stays in fine, and kinda, well, looks chewed up. It's a nervous habit, sorry. Oh, and if you remove the front black faceplate, 'someone' drew a small dinosaur eating a tree on the inside. Can't see it from the outside, just thought I'd warn you that it's there.

The inside of the phone is in great shape. None of the keys are worn down, and the screen is undamaged. It sounds great, and the battery holds a long charge. I can't give an exact figure, but with regular yakkin' at least 2 - 3 days, I'd say.

I will include the mini-USB to USB cable, as well as the power cord, and this sexy dominatrix outfit slash case and belt clip:

Oh, fancy. Keeps it safe. I've never used this thing before, it's just sat in the closet, so it's in good shape. Oh, it's also got a bottom port in addition to the mini-USB on top, the bottom one is for hooking up a headset. It's a regular 1/8"-looking jack. I don't have a headset for this, as I gave it away.

Now here's the i275. Brand new, in its original box with all papers and whatnot. Used it literally twice so far, though I may call my grandma tomorrow with it again, sorry. Hope that doesn't lower the value.

What I'm looking for:
Sprint/Nextel - capable phone
smaller than the i275, don't care if it's flip, or whatever
I would really like something that could take pictures, and play MP3's, and hook up to my Mac. If it'll only see Windows, that's fine too, I can dual-boot

I don't know. I really don't know much about cell phones to be honest. I think the v180 is... GSM? Is that right? That's what Cingular is on. I Googled the phone, and it says it's compatible with this: "GSM 900 / GSM 1800 / GSM 1900".

If anyone else knows about phones and could help, it'd be much appreciated!

Hey, I've decided I'm willing to sell the v180 on its own as well, as I need money. Is $35 shipped a fair price for it, you think? If any one is interested, let me know.

As far as the i275 is concerned, I'm more interested in trading for something smaller more than anything else. I bike everywhere, and I'd like to have something that can comfortably fit in a jeans pocket, and this phone is a tad too long for that.
