I am in desperate need of a AGP Powermac G4 tower.
Must have the processor card, the heatsink, heatsink clips, mainboard, and power supply. The case must also be there, obviously.
It MUST work. I do not feel like having two dead towers! Ones enough thank you. >.<
I have the following items to trade for it :
An Asus P4P800 Deluxe mainboard with a 512MB of DDR and YOUR choice of a Pentium 4 2.53 GHz, a Celeron D 2.66 GHz, or a Celeron 2.5 GHz
A Gigabit Ethernet mainboard
A Gigabit Ethernet power supply
Some orginal Nintendo equipment
Possibly a 850 MHz Pentium III laptop, depending on how good the offer is, laptop has 128MB of RAM and needs a hard disk and HD connector. The HD connector is about 8 bucks on eBay, so its a cheap fix. It also has a DVD-ROM drive.
I do not care about hard drives, RAM, opticals, its all icing on the cake, since I have piles of PC100/133, hard disks, and CD/DVD drives.
I bought a GigE tower off of another Macrumors member thru AIM, and what was supposed to be a "working" tower arrived deader than a dodo bird. I really need a AGP tower since it came with a 1 GHz Sonnet G4 chip and a GeForce 2, so I want to be able to move those into it but retain the orginal OEM G4 chip (In case the Sonnets dead too or to do OS installs smoothly)
I'm REALLY REALLY strapped for cash since I just moved to a new house, so I'd prefer to do trades.
If someone comes forward with a Digital Audio G4 tower or a Quicksilver, I'll trade ALL of it PLUS a 256MB Radeon 9200 to go with the mainboard for the tower.
