Well semester has ended and my PB will just be sitting doing nothing. I was thinking of selling it and buying a 12'' Widescreen Dell laptop when the school year rolls around again.
ANYWAYS....
This is a 12'' PowerBook/1.5ghz/40gb/512 RAM/Combo Drive
I also have an extra battery, one of them has a dink at at the corner, but it still fits the PB fine.
I would also include my Booq sleeve with it.
I will also include my Apple Bluetooth mouse as well, since I cant use that either for any PCs.
It still is under AppleCare. If you wish to extend it, you can as well. I bought the system July 31st 2005. So there is definately still time. I still have the original box (with UPC cut out) and I believe all the things that came with it.
PM me an offer.
EDITED: Added CPU speed, and corrected the RAM to 1.25

Why on earth would you want a Dell 12" after using a PB? Just curious.

I just edited the amount of RAM.
Lately the system has been acting a bit wonky so I reformatted the system hoping it would fix it. It was still acting weird so I did a hardware test. Found that the 1gig memory I put in is apparently bad. I'll be talking to the manufacterer to replace it, so in the mean time, it will be back to 512.
Note to any potential buyers for RAM. Patriot RAM's signature RAM for PowerBook G4s apparently arent as good as they tried to make it out to be. Im hoping they can refund my money so I can buy RAM from datamem, what i should have done in the first place....
To answer your question on why though is because, the laptop is much smaller than the 12'' PB, it also has a higher resolution and a WXGA screen.

But you are forgetting that it's a Dell, and it runs Windows.

well, in either case, i need to sell my PB, because I need the extra cash for the summer. when school starts up again, Ill see what I can get.
In any case, since the RAM died and its back to just 512mb of RAM (dont plan on dealing with the manufacterer till after my exam) Im willing to sell everything for $1050 shipped.
I just want to clarify by the way, both batteries are from Apple, not some cheap 3rd party battery

so your going to trade your powerbook for a 1.5" thick 25% bigger by volume wintel laptop that looks like ass.
which has intel graphics so will be slower for all graphics stuff, vga instead of DVI on the powerbook half the battery life for 32 vertical pixels and 256 horizontal pixels.....
i mean if your switching to a wintel for games sure, but this has the worst current graphics chipset, extreme graphics 1, not even 2.
Are you sure about the 40GB hard drive?
If it's a Rev D (1.5GHz CPU) then these shipped with a 60GB hard disk as standard.

I noticed this too.
Have you replaced the 60GB with a 40Gb?

any takers in the range of 950-1000 then?
Ill double check on the size of the harddrive. I just know its low. I barely use any of it because I have externals to store everything.
And although there is a ding, I am giving TWO batteries. One of them has a ding, another one does not. So despite you paying less than 1000 dollars, you probably only got the system with one battery, and no sleeve.

Just to help out he may have seen what's left on the HDD and not the "real" size of it after re-reading this post. At least that's what I'm thinking as my friend does that all the time. I would think it would have the 80GB HDD with the rest of the specs at what they are.

Yeah... it is a 60gb HDD, 55.77gb to be exact.

Yes it is... 850 + shipping though
I have calculated the shipping cost (insured of course) to be roughly 20 dollars in the US.
