The only reason I want to sell this PowerMac G5 is to get a MacBook Pro, for portability, otherwise, I would keep it.
The Specs:
-Dual 2 GHz Proccesor
-2 GB of RAM
-160 GB HD
-ATI 9600 Pro
-Combo Drive
-Comes with original keyboard and mouse.
-17" Apple Cinema Display
The price I am asking is $1900 for everything.
If anyone is interested or has questions, just email me at lagranat@optonline.net and we can talk.

Hi
I can't afford it nor do I need it but I believe it would be nice for potential buyers to know that the display is an Apple Studio Display ( clear-er bezel ) and has the ADC connector. Apple didn't make a Cinema Display in the 17" size...And which series Power Mac G5 this is: Original (http://www.apple-history.com/?page=gallery&model=g5), June 2004 (http://www.apple-history.com/?page=gallery&model=g5_june_04), Early 2005 (http://www.apple-history.com/?page=gallery&model=g5_early_05), Late 2005 (http://www.apple-history.com/?page=gallery&model=g5_late_05). Every series had a dual 2GHz model. This will also determine if any warranty remains.
Obviously, photos are always good. :)

I'm just trying to give the seller and buyers some more information. Judge for yourself and I don't feel any comments should be made on price. If you have an offer outside of the listed price...You should email or PM the seller with it as not to discourage buyers.
Good luck!

You can buy the computer alone also, so if someone is interested please, don't think I won't sell them by themselves.

Not that I want to lie about my products or anything, but I don't think it is very polite to say that my price is too high, which I personally don't think when you go to apple.com and add it all up. Please, If you can't have anything nice to say, don't say it at all.

i sold a g5 2 ghz with 2 gigs of ram for local pick up. for 1500. it had a 250 gig hd. but that was with out shipping. i would not deal with shipping and only wanted to do a local sale. so 1700 with shipping sounds like a doable option. i did undersell abit. because i wanted a quick sale at the time. no that i look back on it. i could have gotten 200 more for it.
oh well.

I didn't say that, I said I can't think of anywhere where it would be a "$3000 value", including Apple.com.

I sold my 2ghz DP G5 a weeks ago and I'm missing it now!:( It has 1GB ram and super-drive, 4 ram slots, I sold it for $1350. I listed $1450 at first for a week and then $1350 later, it was sold in 2 days. It also has 3 months warranty left. If you want to sell it quickly, you can try ebay. I also tried here, but no success.
