20" Intel Imac Sleeping/Screen Saver Issues?

I am having a problem with my 20" Intel Imac. When I set up the "Hot Corner" to activate my screen saver it comes on then imediately turns off. I then set my mac to go to sleep, but when I came home it's awake. I just started noticing these issues. I have had several macs, and used these features so I know how they work. Anyone know a fix, or having similar issues?

I have also noticed that my iMac sometimes just go into screensaver mood and not to sleep as I have set it up to do. I don´t have any solutions to the problem unfortunatley

jeez this kinda stinks I mean over 2 g's and such a simple problem might be time to call apple care
