Test results for the upgrade 10.2.3 to 10.2.4

Method:

Repair disk permissions

10.2.3 Restart computer no user apps running and run Xbench 1.0 three times.

1, Results 100.55
2, Results 101.84
3, Results 102.67

Upgrade to 10.2.4

Repair disk permissions

10.2.4 Restart computer no user apps running and run Xbench 1.0 three times.

1, Results 101.68
2, Results 102.44
3, Results 93.85

I will admit it was a pretty useless test as Xbench only tests hardware, but I was hoping for some OpenGL or Quartz improvement.

on my power mac (with nothing running, top of the line) i ran xbench on 10.2.4.
OMFG.
Results: 42.75.
On a dual 1.42ghz Power Mac isn't that a bit odd?

Xbench is about as accurate as findind the direction your going by sticking your finger in your mouth and feeling the air, from what I've noticed.

Yes very weird. You have something wrong with Xbench or your hardware/software.

That is very low.

I got a bizarre memory test result. It said I was getting over 1GB/sec, and had an allocate performance of 228% of the base machine. Considering the practical max of the MPX bus is 800MB/sec, I think something's wrong (yes, I know the theoretical limit is about 1GB/sec, Apple says it can't get that high).
