I've had weird Mail text formatting issues recently and was wondering if this happens and how I could possibly fix it. One issue I've had is sometimes when I have a block of text and want to insert something in the middle, any "returns" or new lines created aren't able to be deleted unless I undo past the point it was created. The conditions might not be that exact, but essentially it won't let me delete "returns" sometimes.

Another issue just happened. I was quoting something in an email and wanted to emphasize something with italics and then indicate that I added the emphasis with a square bracketed statement. So I highlighted the text I wanted to italicize, did the command+I to italicize it, but it wouldn't let me unitalicize with just command+I to get out of it. I had to enter a few more spaces and then command+I, before it would register. It's kind of frustraiting to tell it to stop italicizing and it doesn't. It works when I'm just writing along, but when I go back to highlight and italicize, it won't just turn it off for some reason.

Are these bugs? Should I submit them? Can anyone replicate them? The first one I can't dependibly reproduce, I'm not sure what really causes it, but the second one I can keep doing whenever I want.
