I'm sure it's out there somewhere but I'm going to ask anyway because I'm feeling incredibly lazy. :o

I just got my LaCie 250GB External HD and I know I have to reformat because it comes formatted for Windows. Could someone please tell me which option to select. I have no idea what any of them mean.

Also, is there anything else I need to do with it?

Thanks! :)

My LaCie 250GB from Apple came formatted for Macs in Mac (Journaled).

If you are just going to use it for your Mac. You can format it in Mac OS Extended (Journaled)

Cool, thanks guys! ;)

So I don't have to worry about any of that case-sensative stuff?

What exactly does case-sensative mean anyways? Is that File Vault?

I'm pretty sure it means that a file named photo.jpg will be considered different from PHOTO.jpg

I'm not 100% sure though.
