I can't see to find one using google. I'm looking for the squared off corner ones that have been used in RSS feed graphics and other tiny link-to graphics. Veer is using something similar in the interactive feature on their ideas page, but because I only have one small app to do with it, I'd love to find it on the free :D .

Free truetype fonts are here. (http://www.larabiefonts.com/fonts.html) You might find something that may do the job...

Perhaps it helps if a font has simple letter shapes.

Among the Larabie fonts, the one named Zeroes (http://www.myfonts.com/fonts/larabie/zeroes/) is simple and squarish and the one named Stentiga (http://www.myfonts.com/fonts/larabie/stentiga/) is simple and roundish, if it's not too sylized.

The font named Venus Rising (http://www.myfonts.com/fonts/larabie/venus-rising/) is another of that type.

I believe you're referring to pixel fonts. My favorite is this one.
