New mac user keyboard problems

just got an imac 17'' today this is my first mac ever. Im liking it alot getting used to it a lil bit. but im having some problems with my keyboard one. It just stops responding like i will press keys n nothing types. i have to unplug it then plug it back in for it to work. Ne one have a clue whats the deal

Well obviously something is faulty; likely the keyboard. Take it back and exchange it.

EDIT: the keyboard, not the computer...

Yeah, if it's the Apple keyboard then it should just work, so take it back. 🙂

Well your spelling is telling me that something is not right with that keyboard.😉

Not that I could actually be bitchin' about spelling, mine is horrible I know.

The only trouble I ever had with my keyboard was a stuck key.
