.mac down?

Looks like mac.com is down can't ping them either any ideas why and how long?

I know some people were having issues with iWeb 1.1. Might be down to fix those.

Ditto on that:

Safari can’t connect to the server.
Safari can’t open the page “http://mac.com/” because it could not connect to the server “mac.com”.

I tried connecting up about half-an-hour ago – I got the 'can't connect to server' message then, too.

my .mac is up and running fine... mail, iDisk, syncing and web.

it probably was scheduled online on mac.com but no one noticed...

Looks like they maybe planned for a 15 min down period and then something must have happened causing more to go down.

Completely back up. I managed just to catch them going down as I checked my email earlier. I think I killed all their servers. :o

.Mac is recognizing that they all services were down for all .mac members for 3 hours.
