Looks like mac.com is down can't ping them either any ideas why and how long?

All I can do is verify that, for me as well, it's unreachable.

I know some people were having issues with iWeb 1.1. Might be down to fix those.

I tried connecting up about half-an-hour ago – I got the 'can't connect to server' message then, too.

my .mac is up and running fine... mail, iDisk, syncing and web.

Oooohh! I see.. mac.com is down 😉 I understand now. Odd that it is down.

its back up! ... well kind of. I can update my page now... but mac.com is still down.

yah its down....thats odd...

it probably was scheduled online on mac.com but no one noticed...


when it comes back up it will post why it was down...

it does appear that they are having issues: http://www.apple.com/support/dotmac/

Looks like they maybe planned for a 15 min down period and then something must have happened causing more to go down.

Completely back up. I managed just to catch them going down as I checked my email earlier. I think I killed all their servers. 😱

.Mac is recognizing that they all services were down for all .mac members for 3 hours.
