free dvd shrinking/burning software?

Hi, are there any freewares to shrink and burn movie DVD's? Now I use MacTheRipper and Roxio Toast, but is there also a free alternative to Roxio Toast?

To burn, toast owns all.

As for shrinking, i like this program called dvd-rebuilder (dvd-rb), but it's windows only 🙁

Minx Transcoder was free but it doesn't do very well compared to DTOX or Toast 7/Popcorn.

dvd2onex

an alternative to toast, yet, it's not free. BUt, it works great for me. DVd2oneX. I use the older version. don't know about the newer version except it's UB and read it's supposed to be way faster.
