Well I'm having this exact same problem. If I set the time to an accurate date/time, after I restart this exact thing happens. The only catch is, I'm running 10.2.4. I'll post some screen shots. Any help would be very much appreciated.

My dad (who is also a mac fan) sent me to macnn where he saw this issue reported.

He's running 10.2.4 on a Powerbook G4 and hasn't run into any problems. My friend has a 17" iMac and hasn't said anything to me about this problem.

Has anyone else run into this problem?

Could be you have a dead battery in your computer. The battery keeps track of the date and time. Just a thought.
