iMac G5 for sale, collection needed from Nottingham.

The spec as above, this is the isight iMac, the last ever powerpc one. Comes with the remote, box and other accesories. Lightly used for about 6 months, so about 6 months of warranty left. I do not, however, have the original install discs.

It comes with the following software installed:
-Microsoft Office 2004
-ilife 2006

In as new condition, works perfectly and silently, no dead pixels or issues

Price:£875 or offers

Reason for sale: I bought a Powerbook as i wanted portability, the iMac is in great condition

Hey there,
Yes shipping is available, i mean it is very inconvenient since i am at university, but i guess i could send it off via the post office...which would cost £25 odd i think as they majorly overcharge.
thanks

...not interested in the sale but try these guys for postage, much cheaper and quicker than the PO, and they'll collect.

Wow - seems like an amazing deal - surley that lot cost the best part of £1500 new (with MS Office).

Why are you selling? IMO Its a big loss for a short period of time....

If you are wondering why I ask, just checking on resell value of iMac G5s (see my signature)

It's not that amazing. Office is just £100ish for the student edition and he has said that it's installed, not whether you get the boxed version with the disks, same with iLife '06.

So, if it come with the boxed software it is good value (just not 'amazing').

And if you need to run classic or non-rosetta software then this is your best all-in-one option.

The software comes installed not boxed and yes this imac is great for people who use photoshop enough to get annoyed by rosetta, who want a bargain powerpc and still have frontrow and the isight.
let me know of interest
and btw the point about delivery is the fact that i am at university, in halls, so i can't actually get the imac collected like in a house.
