Since i havent seen this roundup yet (and people with non-Al machines might be interested) so i figured i would make this post.

Xbench 1.2 running on both computers.
MB 2.0GHz Core Duo, 512MB RAM, 60 GB 5400 rpm HD
TiPB 1GHz G4, 1GB RAM, 100 GB 5400 rpm HD
Both machines running off AC power

Xbench isn't a very good benchmarking tool. It has been discussed multiple times.

You don't even have the same amount of ram in the computers. That's a problem.

I know that Xbench blows. Got any better ideas instead of just complaining?

Yes i know the RAM is not equal. Want to give me a stick for my MB?

I apologize for the bitchiness, but 3 mins after posting and i am getting flamed...

Well, you used a program that is known not to be the greatest benchmarking tool and you didn't use properly equal computers (the Ram).

I mean, thanks, but...

I mean thanks for the helpful advice. Either way, i have requested the thread to be wastelanded b/c of two unhelpful, inappropriate responses.

If i were a new person here i would be seriously turned off my MR. I hope you both feel better about yourselves.
