You think you've got problems - I'm 36, just about to have a baby with my wife, and still get told the same!!:D

"cheap car hire"...is that the same thing as car rental?? If so, we have the same thing over here. I guess insurance companies know how to screw a person worldwide. :D
I just recently turned 25, so I know the joy of cheap car rental. No more $25 per day underage fees!! Wheeeeee!! :D :D

A local bank just lowered the "FUN-TIMERS" minimum age to 45, and I'm PISSED. As time marches forward, I hope my hips can stay the course. My daughter is all of 8. Wanna know what it's like to be (gasp!) 47 years old and have an 8 year old? When she gets out of college, well, I hope to be ALIVE. Sheesh.

I'm 33 (and have been using Macs for 16 years) turning 34 in August. My wife however turns 30 on Sept 10th. :D :D I've already started planning a party to get her back for the one she threw me when I turned 30!

I think the thing that I noticed that was interesting about the survey is that I'm also becoming one of the "Old Greybeards".
I'm not nearly as old as the 70+ member (congrats!), but being in the 40-45 age group means that 90% (so far) of the survey respondents are younger than me. Thanks for making me feel like an old fart, guys :-)

I'm 53 and I shaved my beard a couple of years ago when I first saw gray. A late bloomer, too - we have 4 children and I didn't get started till 40. No regrets. I'm getting by with my Powerbook 1400 - my eyes are on the new 17" AlumBook, but I might have to settle for the iMac. - I do a lot of music (MIDI and notation) on the Mac. Hello to everyone.

I'm 54 and seem to be in the minority. It's great that we have so many young Mac users, that means the the future of Apple is bright. I think that using a Mac will keep me younger! :)

this is a good poll if it only lasts one day, we won't get that good of a spread ditribution, but oh well.
i'm 20 and got my first Apple (which corresponded to my wanting to get into computers) in 1995. i really only started to be a major nerd in 2000 when i started to study for my A+ cert.

About a year ago the barber asked me if he should remove the couple of grey hairs he saw. One of the most sad moments of my life :-(

I don't have to worry about getting gray hairs. They tend to fall out before they turn gray.

you lads out there with grey hair, i got my first grey hair when i was 16, and i didn't start shaving until i was about 20. go figure. still, apparently the grey hair (just a few specks) is sexy. works for me hah.
i just worked it out, i've been using a mac (on and off to begin with) since i was 9 or so. damn, that's a long time. i remember this game on my mum's mac at work, called 'copter i think. fun fun.

Hey, a lot of birthdays next week.
I'm realising I'm gonna be 28 and I fell like I'll be 24 again, I'm not getting older inside, just a little boldness on the outside but with a very good shave I have a very sofisticated skin head futuristic look!

Well you're the majority of the minority. But nevertheless us mac users are still the cremé de la cremé of the general population. ;)

yes, i was emanating sarcasm ;). but seriously, there are all these really cool people i know, and now that i have a mac, somehow the subject turns up, and it happens that a bunch of them use macs too, lol. there are plenty of neato PC users, i have to confess, but mac users have them outnumbered!

21 here, soon to be graduating and entering la real world. Been a mac user since I was 18 - my lombard was my (HS) graduation present and in a few months, I will regretably (or maybe not since I will hopefully get a new Mac) retire it.
