In all the way?

I Have some labtec Pulse 485's and an iMac Core Duo the input line for the Speakers seems not to fit in the iMacs Headphone Jack all the way, However it fits on my iBook. This does not effect sound quality at all I just want to know if this is normal.

While I would advise trying to go in all the way, it's okay not to if the hole's too small.

I have the same computer as you, and the input line doesnt look like it fits properly either, but it does. I think its due to the curve of the back of the iMac.

This is normal, mine does the same thing. It is left with 3mm or so sticking out but on the laptop it goes in all the way. I think it has something to do with the SPDIF connector, can anyone confirm this?
