I still am rather depressed about this whole event. Couldn't they have JUST bought the part of Connectix that they state was what they wanted, rather than the mac unit too?

giving MS the key to running their OS on the mac is a good thing.
To them, they get another sale of windows for every copy of virtual PC sold. To us, we'd get a more optimised verison of VPC. Unless they get the Internet Explorer people onto it, in which case, they might aswell just can it instead of ruining it and still offering it to us :D

I agree that this is most likely a good thing, with the heat Microsoft has been feeling in regards to their current business tactics, I doubt that they bought out Connectix just to discontinue support for VPC. We will likely see a faster more capable version of VPC coming out soon.

heh, just goes to show that they write crappy code. they had to go out and buy someone elses software to do the same exact thing that Classic does for OS X. Except its considerably less difficult being that the NT family share alot more stuff.
