Does anyone know of a good quality sound card for my DP 1.25? I want to purchase surround sound speaker system. I would also like to know if there is a Mac equivalent to Power DVD. I have several files from my old PC that used that software.

I am in Canada, so, if anyone can also give me the name of a retailer that would have this hardware, it would be most appreciated.

Try the Revolution 7.1 (http://www.m-audio.com/products/consumer/revolution_page1.php) from M-Audio. Though the only retailers that I'm aware of are on the Internet.

yeah shrek is right, the revolution is probablyyour best bet. its about $100 and its 7.1 surround with built in dolby digital decoder, although DTS and the prologic need to be provided elsewhere (like a nice receiver). id recomend the promedia 5.1 set if you want truly awesome sound from your mac
