I know that Painter 6 didn't support Twain for Mac but I've been importing from my Epson scanner a lot recently into Photoshop then bringing it into Painter I don't need really good scans and it would be easier to bring it directly into Painter but putting the Photoshop Twain plug into Painter did in fact bring up the File>Acquire Twain menu in Painter but it kept crashing Painter.
After a lot of back and forward correspondence with Corel I'm now told that the Photoshop Twain plug uses proprietory technology that is not supported by Corel.
So the question is how can I get a Twain plug that will work with Corel? Corel have been no help at all.
