View Full Version : Windows Will Not Remove!

I need to remove windows to do AHT, so I am trying to remove windows. It simply does not work.Every time I try to rempve it and restart, it just keeps being there. It does still boot into wimdows.

If it is that bad then just reformat the drive

But how are you deleting it? Are you using the removal tool in bootcamp? Could be a corrupt partition table.

Yes, using the BCamp partition deleter.

How can I resolve this issue?

I think I have a problem very similar. I think the format of the drive is wrong. It says it's NTFS....which it shouldn't be apparently.

You may need to repair your drive, you need to do this in disk utility. However you need to do this with the install disk as you cant repair disk within OS X.

So you need to put the install cd in, hold down c when booting and launch the cd. When install seem to start, ignore and click utilites on the top bar, then choose disk utility, then run disk repair, and repair your permissions at this time too.

Then restart and then run bootcamp again and see if its working properly.
