I really need help, I'm so mad.

Ok yesterday I asked how I could get the music from my external harddrive onto itunes, and you helped me with that. The only thing is I didn't put all of my music onto my external harddrive, so I used the program senuti, to get the music from my ipod onto the harddrive. The only problem was that as soon as I plugged in my ipod, it automatically did iPod update, deleting all the songs that I didn't put on my harddrive anyway. So I have lost over 3000 songs and don't know how to get them back.

So is there anyway that I can get the songs off the ipod? Even though ipod update deleted them?

No. Next time, set iTunes to not automatically update your iPod.

I guess you could try Data Rescue II (http://www.prosofteng.com/products/data_rescue_info.php). It doesn't generally have good results with non-HFS drives like PC-formatted iPods however it should still find music files. Good luck. :)
